There is a story behind this grave know as the "bride".  For the most part it should be left to tellers of ghost stories and to urban legends and could be found in any ghosts of Chicago type web site. ( I won't link to them because their stories do more harm than good to local cemeteries.)   The only facts are these.   The top photo on the monument is of Julietta Buccola who is the occupant of the grave.  You can see from the picture below that the monument's statue was a good copy of this photo.  The bottom photo is a picture of the same Julietta in her wedding gown, laying in an opened casket.  The writing in Italian beneath the bottom photo states it was taken six years after Julietta was buried and dug up.  She supposedly was fresh as the day they first buried her six years earlier.
