Egg Ribbed light green barrel shapped.
Caterpillar Brownish rust colored with black spines on head and each segment.
Host / Food Hackberries, elms and nettles
Broods 2 broods north, up to 5 broods south
Habitat Openings in woods, road sides orchards and streamsides.
Range Maritime provinces, Quebec to Ontario south through whole Eastern US and into Mexico.
